By registering an account, purchasing courses/test series, or accessing the website (https://learn.alphaclass.in) or the Alpha Classes mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein.
1. Scope and Application
This Policy applies to all individuals who access, download, register, or transact on our Platform, including students, parents, guardians, and visitors (collectively referred to as "Data Principals" or "Users").
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process only the minimal personal data necessary to deliver our educational and test-preparation services:
- Identity and Profile Information: Full name, registered email address, mobile number, academic grade/class, streams, course or exam preferences (e.g., AMU, JMI, BHU, Sainik School, JNVST), and general location (city/state).
- Academic and Performance Data: Course enrollments, batch details, test attempts, test responses, scores, national/state-level rankings, time spent per question, mistake analytics, and queries or doubts submitted to the Platform.
- Technical and Device Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser specifications, app crash logs, performance diagnostics, and cookie identifiers.
- Transaction Metadata: For purchases, we store transaction details including Order ID, Transaction ID, purchased course/package details, transaction amount, date, time, and payment status. Note: Alpha Classes does not store credit/debit card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or net banking passwords. All payments are processed securely by authorized payment partners.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following legal grounds:
- Consent: Explicit and revocable consent provided by the User or their lawful guardian at the time of registration.
- Contractual Obligation: To fulfill services requested by you, such as enabling access to purchased courses or test series.
- Legitimate Interests: For analytics, improving educational content, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventing security breaches or fraud.
4. Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act Rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you (as the Data Principal) have the following enforceable rights:
- Right to Information: Request a summary of the personal data being processed and the list of third parties with whom it has been shared.
- Right to Correction and Completion: Request correction of inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure (Withdrawal of Consent): Request deletion of your personal data when it is no longer required for the purpose of collection or legal compliance.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: Register complaints regarding data processing directly with our Grievance Officer, or escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

5. Children and Minor Privacy
Alpha Classes provides educational and entrance-exam prep services that are utilized by minors (individuals under 18 years of age). In compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023:
- We process the personal data of minors only with the knowledge and consent of their parent or lawful guardian.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the minor's registration and usage.
- We do not engage in behavioral tracking, targeted profiling, or advertising directed at children that could cause harm.
6. Authorized Third-Party Sub-Processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We engage vetted third-party service providers (sub-processors) to deliver core services. These providers process data under strict confidentiality obligations:

7. Account Deletion and Data Erasure
In compliance with Google Play Store Developer Policies and the DPDP Act, 2023, you can delete your account and wipe all associated personal data from our databases at any time.
To request account deletion:
- Send an email to help@alphaclass.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Provide your registered mobile number and email address to verify ownership.
- Upon verification, your account and associated learning/profile records will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
* Note: Certain transaction logs and invoice history may be retained for tax, audit, and legal compliance purposes under applicable Indian laws.
8. Data Security and Safeguards
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and electronic security safeguards (including SSL/TLS encryption, database row-level security, and firewalls) to protect your data. While we strive to ensure absolute security, no transmission method over the internet is completely immune, and we cannot guarantee total immunity from malicious breaches.
9. Platform Limitation of Liability
Alpha Classes, its developers, and operators shall not be held liable for system disruptions, errors, or data access issues caused by:
- Browser or operating system incompatibility on the User's device.
- Local network, ISP outages, or hardware limitations.
- Failures originating from upstream third-party service APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CDN services).
10. Communications and Opt-Out
We may contact you via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or push notifications to deliver course alerts, system updates, and educational announcements. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us at help@alphaclass.in. Important transactional alerts (such as purchase invoices and critical course schedule updates) will still be delivered.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes, claims, or grievances arising under this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.
